Chalo Bhai is an app in development. This website describes what is planned and lets you join a waitlist. Features described here as planned or coming are not available yet, and they may change or be dropped before launch. Nothing on this website is a promise that the app will launch by a particular date, or at all.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and does not create an account or guarantee you access. By joining, you agree that we may contact you on WhatsApp about early access. You can ask to be removed at any time, as described in the privacy policy. Please give your own details, and only details that are true.

Chalo Bhai is not a transport provider

Chalo Bhai is not a taxi, ride-hailing or transport company. It does not own vehicles, employ drivers or provide rides. The app is intended to introduce commuters who travel the same route so that they can choose to share a journey and its fuel cost.

Carpool arrangements are between users

Any carpool arrangement is made directly between the people involved. They decide whether to ride together, where and when to meet, and how to share the fuel cost. Chalo Bhai is not a party to those arrangements, does not handle any money and takes no commission.

Each person is responsible for their own decisions and conduct. Drivers are responsible for holding a valid licence, keeping their vehicle roadworthy and following traffic law. Verification, ratings and similar features are planned to help people make informed choices. They are not a guarantee about any person.

Estimates on this website

The petrol cost calculator and the route pages give estimates based on the figures shown, including a petrol price that changes often. Distances, fuel averages and costs are approximate. Check them against your own car and route before relying on them.

Using this website

You are welcome to read, share and link to this website. Please do not misuse it, for example by submitting other people's details, sending automated or false signups, or trying to disrupt it.

Liability

This website is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Chalo Bhai and its founder are not liable for loss arising from use of this website or from reliance on its content.

Changes and contact

These terms cover the pre-launch website only. The app will have its own terms when it launches. If this page changes, the date at the top will change with it. Questions can be sent to support@chalbhai.co.
