Karachi carpool routes

Chalo Bhai will open route by route, beginning with the commuter corridors where the most cars travel with empty seats. These are the first five. If yours is missing, join the waitlist and tell us.

How route matching works

A corridor is a line that many commuters share, such as University Road into Saddar. Along that line, a driver and a rider match when three things are true.

  • The rider's pickup point is near the driver's route.
  • The rider's drop point is further along the same route.
  • Their days and time windows overlap.

That is why a driver from Safoora can pick someone up at NIPA and drop them at Jail Chowrangi on the way to Saddar. Neither lives nor works in the same place, but one route covers both trips.

Don't see your route?

These five are a starting point, not the limit. People commute daily from North Karachi and FB Area to SITE, from Malir and Model Colony to Shahrah-e-Faisal, from Bahria Town into the city, and between dozens of other pairs of areas.

The waitlist form asks for your home area and your work or university area. Those answers decide which routes open next, so the most useful thing you can do for your route is add it, and share this page with one person who travels it too.

Whether you would drive or ride, every signup counts towards your corridor.
